Pay: $55,735 – $93,254/year (placement and salary depend on license and experience)


What You’ll Do:

  • Operate and monitor water treatment and pumping facilities (as scheduled or as relief staff)
  • Ensure treated water meets/exceeds all state and federal Safe Drinking Water Standards
  • Work various shifts—plant operates 24/7, so shifts/days off may vary (day shifts and weekends are least likely)
  • Progress from trainee (C license) up to A/B Certified Water Treatment Operator, with higher pay as you advance

Who They’re Looking For:

  • Licensed water treatment operators (A or B), or those with a “C” certification and relevant experience (can be hired as a trainee)
  • Candidates willing to work variable shifts and learn on the job
  • Detail-oriented, safety-minded, and reliable individuals interested in critical public infrastructure
